"My painting leads me to a destination undiscovered, raw and ready for adventure. Many unexpected occurrences happen along the way to make the artistic process frustrating, challenging, doubtful and thrilling and this rollercoaster ride can be evident in the work. One thing I am sure of, it is never boring and to go there regularly is necessary to feel alive creatively."
